The land of Japan is now thrown into chaos. Due to political corruptness, famine, harsh tax increases, and natural disasters, the people are growing restless. Warlords fight for new land. The Emperor now has no control over who his people are. Many remain loyal, but have their own hidden agendas. Many prominant figures rise in this chaos. Oda Nobunaga of the Oda clan in Owari, Tokugawa Ieyasu in Mikawa, Shimazu Takahisa in Osumi, Takeda Shingen in Kai, Uesugi Kenshin in Echigo, and Date Terumune in Dewa all rose to power with a vast military and strategical power. However, the armies of Japan are stirring. New clans are arising and trying to unify a fief.
